Cinnamon AI's President and CEO, Hirano, appointed as an expert member of the Japan Growth Strategy Council
Minutes and materials from the first meeting have been made public.
Cinnamon Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Hirano Miku; hereinafter referred to as "Cinnamon AI"), which provides AI (artificial intelligence) solutions to major Japanese companies, has appointed its President and CEO, Hirano Miku, as an expert member of the Japan Growth Strategy Council, chaired by Prime Minister Takaichi Sanae.
The Japan Growth Strategy Council, newly established by the Takaichi Cabinet, aims to "promote strategic investment through preemptive public-private partnerships in response to risks and social issues, and achieve further growth in Japan's economy by providing products, services, and infrastructure that contribute to solving common global issues," and will discuss Japan's new investment strategies and economic measures.
The first Japan Growth Strategy Council was held on November 10th, and the minutes and meeting materials were published on the Cabinet Secretariat's official website.Hirano spoke about "Establishing an economic security platform that combines AI technology," "Investment in crisis management and growth areas," and "Key requirements for research and development of cutting-edge technologies."For more information, please see the URL below.

■Mirai Hirano’s profile
A serial entrepreneur, she graduated from the University of Tokyo Graduate School in 2009. She has been researching recommendation engines, complex networks, and clustering. She was twice selected for the IPA Exploratory Software Creation Initiative in 2005 and 2006. While still a student, she founded Naked Technology, developing and operating middleware for app development on iOS, Android, and feature phones. She sold the company to mixi in 2011. She has received numerous awards both domestically and internationally, including the St. Gallen Symposium Leaders of Tomorrow, Forbes JAPAN's "2020 Entrepreneur Ranking" Top 10, Woman of the Year 2019 Innovative Entrepreneur Award, and Veuve Clicquot Business Woman Award 2019 New Generation Award. She was also selected as a member of the World Economic Forum's 2022 Young Global Leaders (YGL) group of under-40s who are bringing change to the world. Since 2020, she has served as a member of the Cabinet Secretariat's IT Strategy Office and a special member of the Cabinet Office Tax System Research Council. In 2021, she was appointed as an expert member of the Cabinet Office Council on Economic and Fiscal Policy, a member of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry's New Economic and Industrial Policy Subcommittee, and an expert member of the Cabinet Secretariat's Council for the Realization of New Capitalism. In 2022, she became the chair of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry's Industrial Policy Study Group for the Realization of a Resilient Society. In 2024, she became an Outside Director of JGC Holdings Corporation. She also serves on the Advisory Board of the University of Tokyo's Faculty of Engineering. She is a mother of three children.
