"Super RAG" provided to NTT ExC partners

Procurement system help desk operations achieve three times the accuracy of LLM responses, promoting operational efficiency

We have begun providing Cinnamon AI's proprietary RAG system, "Super RAG," for the help desk operations of the procurement system of NTT ExC Partners Inc. (NTT ExC Partners, Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Shinji Yano; hereinafter "NTT ExC Partners"), a company that provides a wide range of services including consulting primarily in the field of human capital.

In the help desk operations of the procurement system provided by NTT ExC Partner, operators use LLMs (large-scale language models) when responding to various inquiries from customers. The incorporation of "Super RAG" has enabled LLMs to refer to complex documents (unstructured documents) such as manuals and specifications that contain figures and tables with high accuracy, achieving three times the accuracy of answers compared to the previous system (measured by the company). Furthermore, the ability to instantly and accurately search large volumes of documents has also succeeded in improving the efficiency of operators' response confirmation work.

Going forward, NTT ExC Partners will continue to promote performance improvement using Super RAG in help desk operations, which require tacit knowledge and experience, and will also collaborate with Cinnamon AI to consider introducing Super RAG to other operations.

■ Cinnamon AI's "Super RAG" can utilize unstructured documents including charts

Cinnamon AI's "Super RAG" is a unique AI product that can build LLMs that analyze complex documents such as tables and figures and generate highly accurate answers without tuning. It is said that 80% of the data held by companies is unstructured data that is not suitable for data utilization. It uses unique document analysis technology to perform advanced analysis and optimal structuring according to the content type*, realizing business automation by generating LLM answers using the RAG system.

Super RAG can be introduced in a wide range of business processes, for example, by easily importing a huge amount of specialized documents such as financial statements, technical information, and company regulations, and the LLM can quickly generate appropriate answers*. It can also be used for tasks that require specialized knowledge such as responding to inquiries, creating business plans, writing reports, and predicting incidents, as well as low-volume, high-mix tasks that require tacit knowledge. *The accuracy of answers varies depending on the type of document.
