Fujitsu today announced that it will begin selling "Flax Scanner HUB," an AI-OCR platform that integrates AI-OCR and generative AI to significantly expand data utilization in companies, on April 23rd.

"Flax Scanner HUB" is an innovative AI-OCR that can extract information from non-standard forms that were previously difficult to read with high accuracy without prior form definition by integrating the no-code learning function of generative AI into AI-OCR. Depending on the difficulty of the form to be read, form-specific AI-OCR models and customized models for individual companies are available, allowing you to use forms in various formats quickly and with high accuracy in one stop.

1. No-code learning function that achieves information extraction accuracy of 94%*
When extracting information from non-standard forms using a generation AI, if there are no entries that identify the items, such as "date" or "order number," the generation AI cannot make the correct judgment and may extract the wrong information. Cinnamon AI has addressed this issue by having the generation AI learn from past AI-OCR performance, achieving a significant improvement in accuracy, with an information extraction accuracy of 94%*.

To achieve this, we use a no-code learning function that incorporates our proprietary few-shot learning, which is used when using generative AI. By simply registering the correct answer data of the AI-OCR reading results in the generative AI, we have improved the reading accuracy.

2. High-precision reading of all standard and non-standard forms without coordinate definition
"Flax Scanner HUB" reads all types of standard and non-standard forms with high accuracy, using an optimal information extraction method according to the difficulty of the form, including not only widely used non-standard forms such as invoices, but also industry-specific forms that frequently contain technical terms and customer-specific forms.
