The Davos Meeting is an annual meeting of the international organization World Economic Forum (WEF), where politicians, businesspeople, intellectuals, and other leaders from various fields from around the world gather under one roof. A wide range of global and regional issues are discussed in Davos, Switzerland, where the meeting is held, and various topics attract the attention of the world every year.

Hirano participated in the session "Unlocking the Innovation Economy" on the second day.Hirano has also been selected as a member of the World Economic Forum's 2022 Young Global Leaders (YGL) class, chosen by the World Economic Forum as people under the age of 40 who will bring about change in the world.)
