Fujitsu's "Fujitsu Kozuchi Generative AI" incorporates our "Super RAG"
Our AI product "Super RAG™ (Super Lag)" has been developed as an AI service by Fujitsu Limited (Head office: Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture, President and CEO: Takahito Tokita, hereinafter "Fujitsu")Fujitsu Kozuchi Generative AI" and will provide more advanced business AI solutions from February 2025.
This allows companies to easily connect to business systems and existing databases via API, enabling fast and accurate document processing using "Super RAG."

■ Integrating Purpose
"Super RAG" is a multi-modal AI product that can ingest large volumes of complex unstructured documents, including tables and figures, and generate highly accurate answers using LLMs (large-scale language models). "Fujitsu Kozuchi Generative AI" is an advanced AI service from Fujitsu that comes with a WebGUI and WebAPIs that enable seamless integration with business systems, and can easily connect to corporate databases and applications.
By incorporating "Super RAG" into "Fujitsu Kozuchi Generative AI", complex tables, charts, handwritten documents, and other data that have previously been difficult to process can be instantly processed, significantly automating business processes.
■ Issues to be resolved
Conventional RAG technology has difficulty properly processing complex unstructured data (handwritten documents, scanned images, diagrams, etc.) In addition, although general multimodal LLMs have become capable of handling unstructured data in recent years, they have not been able to perform processes such as search, extraction, and integration of large amounts of data.
By incorporating "Super RAG," which has advanced document structure analysis and a unique search system, into "Fujitsu Kozuchi Generative AI," knowledge can be quickly extracted from the large amount of business documents accumulated within a company, and business improvements can be achieved through AI. This effect is particularly noticeable in fields that handle complex documents, such as manufacturing and finance. For example, in a test in the finance industry, a task was carried out to generate answers to past business questions using multiple business manuals including charts and graphs as reference sources, rather than FAQ files. In a case where a conventional RAG system was used, the accuracy rate was only about 401 TP3T. However, by using "Super RAG," an accuracy rate of over 901 TP3T was achieved on our test data.
Cinnamon AI will continue to collaborate with Fujitsu's "Fujitsu Kozuchi Generative AI" to provide advanced AI solutions to more industries.

While generative AI has made remarkable progress and is being used in a wide variety of industries and business processes, there are many cases where the desired results are not achieved due to the large amount of unstructured documents used within companies, including graphs and handwritten text, which can be a challenge. Cinnamon's technology solves this problem by enabling highly accurate analysis and search of these unstructured documents. We believe that by incorporating Cinnamon's "Super RAG" into Fujitsu's AI service "Fujitsu Kozuchi," we can accelerate the use of AI in more of our customers' businesses and contribute to further operational efficiency.
■ Yoshiaki Ieda, Executive Officer, Strategic Partnerships and Head of Executive Office, Cinnamon AI
"In this collaboration with Fujitsu, our "Super RAG" has been highly evaluated. We are honored that many customers will be able to utilize Cinnamon AI technology through "Fujitsu Kozuchi Generative AI."
With the rapid evolution of generative AI, many companies are working on advanced analysis and utilization of unstructured documents within their companies. We are particularly proud that our technology can help solve this problem in Japan, where there are many long-established companies with vast amounts of data and know-how. Going forward, we will continue to develop and provide AI products that further improve business efficiency and productivity, and promote DX, based on cutting-edge AI technologies such as RAG and AI agents that empower business.
