Professor Philip Kotler, who has roots in Ukraine and is said to be the father of modern marketing, says that in 2010 he received a question from a wealthy Middle Eastern man: "Can we market peace?" Since then, I have made it my life's work to research how corporate marketing should evolve in order to create a better society and achieve peace.

In this lecture, Professor Kotler, who is over 90 years old, entrusts President and CEO Hirano with a message for the next generation as a young female leader. Professor Kotler offers many suggestions, including the role of marketing, SDGs, ESG, the important way of thinking and attitude of a marketer in realizing a sustainable society, and how business can contribute to peace.
